Challenges of the Built Environment Workshop - Cleveland


The International Association of Fire Fighters is hosting a 2-day workshop on Challenges of the Built Environment. This free training is an opportunity to learn and network with industry leaders from the IAFF, UL Solutions, Fire Safety Research Institute FSRI, and FDNY and learn about the latest emerging issues and concerns in the fire service.

Topics Include:  

Fire Fighter Personal Protective Equipment: Upcoming Changes to PPE Standards
Responding to Electrical Hazards: Photovoltaic Response, Manhole Fires, Residential ESS.
Mass Timber Buildings
High Rise Fire Operations: HVAC Operations

Event Notes:
The workshop is open to all! There is no cost to attend.
You do not have to attend both days!
Coffee & Pastries will be provided daily from 8 to 9 am.
Lunch will be provided.
The first 100 to register will receive a free ticket to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame!
The event will be live-streamed and recorded for training purposes.
