Cancer in the Fire Service: Understanding Occup. Risks
The Cancer in the Fire Service – Understanding Occupational Risks web-based training (WBT) is designed to provide comprehensive training for fire service personnel to understand what cancer is and how it impacts fire fighters and EMS providers. You will learn how to identify routes of exposure and known fireground carcinogens that result in occupational cancer. By the end of the course, you will be able to recognize personal risk factors and implement occupational best practices to prevent exposures. You will also learn about partnerships the IAFF has with organizations who support fire fighters with cancer and have access to resources that can support you if you or someone you love develops cancer
