Applications are open for the 2023 International Association of Fire Fighters Communications Training Academy (CTA). The CTA provides a unique opportunity to expand your communications skills, and will give you the tools needed to effectively advance the cause of fire fighters. It is presumed that you have a working knowledge of social media prior to attending.

The CTA will take place from Monday, May 1 to Friday, May 5, 2023. Applicants should expect to arrive on Sunday, April 30 and depart on Saturday, May 6. The training will be held at the Maritime Conference Center in Linthicum Heights, MD.

Attendees are only responsible for the cost of their transportation to and from the Communications Training Academy. The IAFF pays for all housing, food, and training materials for all attendees.

Once you complete the application, please send a recommendation letter from your Local President via email to Ian Stublarec at istublarec@iaff.org. Please include "CTA Application - Your Name" in the subject line.
